Job purpose
The IT Project Manager – Enterprise Systems is a pivotal role within our organization, requiring a
seasoned professional with at least 10 years of IT project management experience in a large, global
company. The successful candidate will be an expert practitioner of Project Management industry
best practices and have a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects to
successful completion.
What will you do?
- Work closely with the Director of Global Manufacturing Execution Systems, and in
coordination with Engineering and Manufacturing leaders, manage the MES standardization
and modernization project at Lightera, ensuring it aligns with business goals. - Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing of IT enterprise
applications projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and project objectives - Manage projects within IT domains such as Manufacturing Execution Systems, ERP, CRM,
Infrastructure, and Security. - Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company
goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases - Oversee a global, cross-functional project team, providing strong leadership and direction
to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met - Establish and maintain strong partnerships with project owners and stakeholders,
effectively leading projects from the front and ensuring transparent communication - Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring efficient allocation and
utilization - Conduct regular project reviews and report on progress, risks, and opportunities to
executive management and other key stakeholders - Assure that deviations from the project schedule are addressed and communicated
- Monitor project risk factors, escalate project issues, and provide quality assurance for all
project deliverables - Apply PMI institute’s ten key knowledge areas of project management: Integration, Scope,
Schedule, Cost, Quality, Resource, Communication, Risk, Procurement, and Stakeholder
Management - Drive continuous improvement within the IT PMO by championing best practices and
process enhancements - Utilize strong presentation skills to convey complex project information to executive
audiences with clarity and confidence - Foster a collaborative team environment, building strong relationships, and employing
active listening, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
What do you need to know?
- Proven track record of delivering multiple complex IT projects on time, within budget, and
with high customer satisfaction - Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple
projects simultaneously - Strong leadership skills with experience in leading global, cross-functional teams
- Knowledge in IT PMO process development and implementation
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile, and Scrum
methodologies. - Ability to inspire, motivate, and guide team members and stakeholders
- Highly process-oriented with a keen focus on quality and efficiency
- Excellent written and oral communication skills across a diverse range of culture
Critical Experience & Qualifications
- 10 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager leading enterprise applications projects
in a manufacturing environment - 5+ years of experience with Change Management and business transformation initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in computer-related, information technology, engineering, or operations
disciplines - Project Management certification is required (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile)
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Planview, MS Project).
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly team-oriented. Can operate effectively in a global multi-national compan
